Greg & Krista’s Destination Desert Wedding

Surrounded by sunset’s golden light, mountain views and closest friends and family, Greg & Krista said I Do! With a soft peach, neutral palette her bridal bouquet intertwined with their unique wedding arch created by Rancho Mirage Florists beautifully! The balance of color tones blended perfectly to the desert vibe this coastal couple was envisioning. As two creatives themselves, both are Architectural Photographers – it’s no wonder lighting and the surrounding aesthetics were a top priority for them. Which I of course appreciated!

Their ceremony was intimate and beautiful, sweet wedding vows were exchanged and a family medallion given to their son. Of course, I can’t forget their custom wedding rings! Greg’s ring is made out of meteorite, and he also worked with the jeweler to design Krista’s one of a kind creation! And her “borrowed” item was the Rosary worn around her wrist which came from the Vatican – so neat!

It was such a joy getting to know both Greg and Krista. My favorite part of our time with them was when I was photographing a few details with Krista, Greg then says, “Oh, do you want my socks? “Socks? I said” and the next moment Greg pulled up his pant legs to reveal his awesome Star Wars socks! What?! High fives for that one Greg! (scroll to see image below) I love detail surprises! I have to say… a meteorite ring, Star Wars socks…maybe Greg is more of a superhero than he let’s on, he is pretty tall. 🙂
