Princess Tea Party

Today my girls and I attended the Princess Tea event fundraiser for the Refuge Pregnancy Center. It was held at Heritage Palms Country Club, in Palm Desert and was completely sold out! The fun event began with a red carpet entrance, followed by a charming prince who so kindly handed the girls a tiara and a princess wand, next we walked down the hall where we were greeted by other beautiful princesses. It was quite exciting and we had only begun.

Upon entering the ballroom were tables decorated with Disney Princess themes. The stage was beautifully lit, along the walls were the many auction items to choose from (and yes, my Jasmine did win one! She was quite delighted!); and how can we forget the ginormous cupcake table!

My Daughters certainly had a wonderful time being in Princess mode. Their royal treatment actually began earlier in the week, which included shopping for fancy glitter shoes and “princess” outfits, hair accessories, a new purse, and of course last night polishing their nails perfectly. This morning they were greeted by a mini entourage, none other than their awesome Grandmother and Great Aunt, who so graciously helped alter their dresses as needed and provided any last minute “things” such as hot tools, and styling products – this momma RARELY owns any hair spray lol!  To say the least they were primped and manicured and super excited to have a reason to dress up today.

And what a great reason it was. The Refuge Pregnancy Center is a non-profit organization that provides help to women in crisis pregnancy situations.  To learn more about RPC, the classes offered, upcoming events, or to donate, please visit their site http://www.refugepregnancycenter.org.

Here are a  few snapshots of today’s fun event with my girls :).
